Second Position Scale

The first scale is at the second position.    Notice that this scale does require you to move your hand to pick up the C note played on the second string.   Once you've run through this a few times you'll see that it flows rather nicely because of the use of the open strings.   Also notice, that to start on the root of the scale, the scale begins on the Open 5th string and the 6th string doesn't play a part in this particular scale.
