Multi-Position Scale

This scale is a bit more challenging in that it moves through two octaves and requires that your hand move to multiple positions as you move up and down the neck.   As you can see in the fretboard diagram, your index finger will move from 2nd position -> 4th position -> 5th position -> 7th position -> 9th position.  The return trip is the same.

On the return trip, be careful to play the E on the 2nd string using the index finger, and then play the D on the 3rd string using the little finger to allow you to move your hand to 4th position as you change strings.
